Laura Valencia is the Community Educator for HCNV. Activist, advocate, educator and entrepreneur - Laura Valencia has worked to serve the under-represented communities in the Napa Valley for over 15 years. Specifically, she is passionate about education, health, immigration, farm workers, women and girls, and the elderly.
Originally from Guadalajara, Mexico, Laura immigrated to Napa at the age of 7. As a result of her personal experience with her brother, a leukemia survivor, and through caring for her mother after suffering a stroke, she is dedicated to serving and supporting her community with the same determination and principles she brought to her family. She is bilingual in Spanish and English and is very well connected in our community.
